ALIVE II is a CRUCIAL buy for any true KISS fan for side 4 if nothing else. To help move units, the band recorded five new studio tracks which were only included here on the D side. They're all pretty great (All American Man is Paul Stanley at his Paul Stanleyest) but Rocket Ride is one of Ace Frehley's sickest jams. For those unfamiliar, that track can best
be summed up as "carny rock." Imagine yourself flying at mach 5 on a rickety old Graviton, while the dude working the machine sips Jim and dips at the same time. Rocket Ride is his favorite song.
