Acclaimed Norwegian singer-songwriter and producer Susanne Sundfør was born in Oslo. She stated she started playing music when she was six. She rose to fame with in 2007 with her debut album reaching #3 in the charts. Her music has been described as synth-pop, electropop and baroque art pop with an experimental flair and a touch of folk.  Sundfør's most poignant and personal album to date, 'Music For People In Trouble' marks her out as one of the most compelling artists in the world. The album was inspired by a journey made in a bid to reconnect, traveling across continents to contrary environments and politically contrasting worlds from North Korea to the Amazon jungle.
