This is the Lenny & Squiggy originally of Laverne & Shirley fame. Michael McKean (Lenny) and Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel) later appeared together in Spinal Tap and The Folksmen.
The keyboard player, Murphy Dunne, played with The Blues Brothers. [Invalid Artist] was once purported to be Kiss drummer Peter Criss (without "cat" costume and make-up), though Criss denied it was him. McKean has since stated it was drummer Don Poncher.
