On their first stop in the path of complete and utter guitar domination of wax, Linz's homegrown heads of pedal distortion have done a flawless burnout in their own unique direction at the crossroads of a certain Brian Jonestown Massacre road of haze and a Jesus and Mary Chain boulevard of echoey lyricism hidden behind a rock solid wall of sound. Tambourines emulate the deadliest of snake rattles, guitar amps cling to life, drumheads implode from the sheer viscosity of rhythm, and what's left? A pair of ear sockets plugged to secure you one heck of a ride. Straying towards a much fuller, more concious production than their self-titled cassette, Cafe Racer, the tunes ain't fast, but goddammit are they furious. I'm talking a full on Vin-Diesel-beatdown of aced up 4-track recorded noise on your hearing holes, Tokyo Drift-style. Seriously, it's a beaut. Race yourself to the cafe. Dig baby, dig.
