If the lore and legends are true, long ago in the fabled year of 2013, two of the loudest garage rockers to the left of the Mississippi (Ty Segall, Charlie Moothart) sacrificed their clean guitar tones for distortion only the devil himself could fathom. The planets aligned, creating a supernatural, celestial beam of demonic noise that could only be absorbed by Segall and Moothart as reward for their ultimate sacrifice. Nobody really knew the true name of this surreal result of raw noise, but many have now grown to refer to this legend simply as "Fuzz". Guitar harmonies, big muffs, Ty Segall on drums AND VOCALS, the pissing of one's self at the turn of every forbidden scroll-written riff, and the tangy bits in between do no even begin to encompass what odyssey of near-death power this record truly is.
